Andreas Papacharalambous (founding partner):

Andreas Papacharalambous studied law at the University of Athens. Since 1976, he has been practicing law in Nicosia, where he co-founded the Papacharalambous & Angelides Law Office. Andreas deals with all areas of law and is in charge of the overall administration of the law office, as well as maintaining contacts with overseas clients. He particularly specialises in listing public companies on the Cyprus Stock Exchange, with which he has special business ties.

He has played an active role in the political developments of Cyprus, having been a member of the political party DISY since 1976. Andreas's contribution in the sports field also deserves mention. Amongst many positions held, he was appointed President of the Cyprus Athletics Organisation (KOA) for the duration of three years (2000-2003).

Andreas has lectured in Constitutional Law and Political Sciences at the KES College in Nicosia. He has also been a member of the Cyprus Bar Association Committee, which he has represented at an international level.



Pavlos Angelides (founding partner):

Pavlos has been a barrister since 1977 and a member of the Lincoln's Inn. He is a founding partner of Papacharalambous & Angelides Law Office and has considerable experience in litigation both in Cyprus and abroad. His speciality areas include trade, commercial and tort litigation. Pavlos has been the Vice-President of the Nicosia Bar Association over a number of years.



Demos Christodoulou:

Demos Christodoulou has obtained his law degree from the University of Salonika in Greece and he is a member of the Nicosia Bar Association and the Cyprus Bar Association.

He is a senior litigator and specialises in civil litigation, probate and banking law.



Sophie Nicolaou:

Sophie studied Law at the University of Sheffield from September 1992 until July 1995. From October 1996 until 1997 she successfully completed compulsory training for the Cyprus Bar Association License at Stathis Kittis Law Office in Nicosia.

Since 1997, Sophie has been working as a lawyer at Papacharalambous & Angelides Law Office. She specializes in the field of family law.



Stavroulla Ioannou Kyrou:

Stavroulla received her LLB (Hons) degree from the University of Kent at Canterbury, UK in the year 2000, and has also obtained a Bachelor of Science (Bsc) degree in General Business Administration. She later on successfully completed the Cyprus Bar Examinations and is a member of the Kyrenia Bar Association in Nicosia.

Stavroulla completed her Cyprus Bar training course at Papacharalambous & Angelides law office where she continues to work until today and is Head of the Corporate and International clientele Department.



Eleni Papacharalambous:

Eleni Papacharalambous is the Head of the Intellectual Property Department. Eleni received her LLB (Hons) degree at Exeter University in the UK before going on to complete the Bar Vocational Course with Gray’s Inn.

Eleni deals with all aspects of intellectual property law and is a litigation lawyer on intellectual property matters.

Eleni is a member of the Harmonization Committee of the European Communities Trademark Association (ECTA).



Loizos Papacharalambous:

Loizos graduated from the University of Bristol (LL.B) before going on to successfully complete the bar vocational course, being a member of Gray's Inn. He was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 2004 and is currently a member of the Nicosia Bar Association Committee. He has been a prosecutor before the judicial committee of the Cyprus Football Association since 2004 and in 2007 he was also appointed member of the judicial committee of the Cyprus Basketball Federation. Loizos is currently completing the International and Comparative Commercial Arbitration Diploma with the Queen Mary College of the University of London.

His main areas of practice are civil and commercial litigation, specializing in banking, investment and insurance companies.



Eleni Aroti:

Eleni completed the LLB course at the University of Bristol in 2004. In the following year she successfully completed the Bar Vocational Course and is a member of Gray's Inn.

Kyproula Kyprianou:

Kyproula completed her studies at the University of Cyprus in the Department of English Language and Literature in 1999. She has been working as a translator at Papacharalambous & Angelides since 2005.
